Illustratoren Organisation

Seit kurzem bin ich Mitgleid in der Illustratoren Organisation. Dort erhält man sehr umfangreiche Informationen was man beachten sollte, wenn man mit Illustration Geld verdienen will und man kann sich mit einem Portfolio präsentieren. Für die eifrigen Blogleser unter euch wird dort allerdings nicht viel neues zu finden sein. Ein Blick lohnt sich trotzdem.

I'm now a member of the Illustratoren Organisation. There you'll find lots of information about how to work as an illustrator. And you can present yourself with a portfolio. If you're reading my blog constantly it won't be that new for you. Worth a look anyway.

Red Shoes

Die Illustration hatte ich beinahe vergessen. Sie ist im Rahmen des Illustrationskurses an der EVTEK in Helsinki letzten Winter entstanden. Ich mags immer noch sehr gern.

I totally forgot about this one. I made it last year for an illustration class at EVTEK in Helsinki and it was a christmas present for all of my friends. I still like it a lot.

Ist denn schon Weihnachten? - Is it Christmas already?

Seit ein paar Tagen musste ich mich zwangsweise in Weihnachtsstimmung versetzen. Das ist nicht so schlimm, denn ich finde Weihnachten toll, nur setzt meine Weihnachtsstimmung meist erst mit dem 1. Dezember ein. Nichstdestottrotz muss das Weihnachstthema für das Kinderbuchprojekt bis dahin fertig sein und so gabs jede Menge Weihnachtsbäume. Hier der Verschneite mit Schneemann. Den Rest zeige ich wenn es wirklich Weihnachten ist.

In the last days I had to to bring myself into the christmas mood. That's okay because I really like christmas. So anyway the chistmas topic for the children's book has to be finished because they need it for christmas. So I had to draw lots of christmas trees, here is the one with the snow. I'll show you more when it's really christmas.

Jan and Boris und die Elster - Jan and Boris and the magpie

Ich bin ja sooo geschmeichelt :-) Jan und Boris haben bei LuckyStartups ihr neues Baby vorgestellt: Be-a-magpie, eine Plattform auf der man mit Twittern Geld verdienen kann. Und ich werde lobend erwähnt (ab ca. 7:30). Danke Jungs!

SLANTED #06 – SIGNS, SYMBOLS, ORNAMENTS

Da ist es, das neue Slanted Magazin - Signs, Symbols, Ornaments. Diesmal sogar mit einem kleinen Beitrag von mir und Patrick. Wir haben Yang Liu im Rahmen der Typo interviewt. Yang Liu ist mit Ihrem Buch "Ost trifft West" bekannt geworden in dem sie sehr ironisch die chinesische und die deutsche Mentalität gegenüberstellt. Beides (Slanted und "Ost rtifft West") sind absolut sehens- und lesenswert!

Here it is, the new Slanted Magazine. This time there is also a little interview that I made together with Patrick. We spoke to Yang Liu, she made an ironic and neat little book called "East meets West" where she compares the German and the Chinese way of life. Absolutely brilliant - both: Slanted and "East meets West"!

In the playground

Hier wieder eine neue Illustration für das Kinderbuch, diesmal geht es darum was man auf dem Spielplatz alles machen kann, inklusive "Find the differences"-Bild.

Another illustration for the children's book. It's about what kids can do in the playground icluding a "Find the differences" picture.
