Humpty Dumpty

Nach meiner Diplom-und-Reise-Pause wurde es endlich mal wieder Zeit an den Illustrationen für die Kinder-Englisch-Schule weiter zu arbeiten. Dieses Mal war es der Humpty-Dumpty-Reim. Aber seht selbst...

After a thesis-and-travel break I continued to work on the illustrations for the children's English school. This time it's the Humpty Dumpty rhyme. But have a look yourself...

In the morning

Hier mal wieder zwei Illustrationen aus dem Lehrbuch für die Kinder-Englischschule. Diesmal geht es darum, was man am Morgen so macht und dann dann gibts noch ein kleines Issue im Kinderzimmer...

Here are another two illustrations for the kid's English school. It's about what you don in the morning and there is a little quarrel in the cildren's room.

Breakfast

Ich hab lange nichts mehr für die Kinder-Englisch-Schule gepostet und einige von euch haben erst kürzlich danach gefragt. Deswegen kommen hier ein paar Frühstücksszenraien für das Frühstücksthema.

Baby Card

Meine beste Kindergarten-Freundin bekommt bald ihr erstes Baby, also hab ich heute ganz viele Baby-Illustrationen gemacht, denn sie bat mich die Baby-Karte zu designen... Jetzt brauchen wir nur noch das Baby, damit ich die Karte auch fertig machen kann :-)

My best friend from kingarten is going to have her first baby soon and she asked me to design her baby-card. So I did a lot of baby stuff illustrations today... So now we just need the baby so that I can finish it :-)

Kleidungsstücke - Clothes

Ich arbeite immer noch an den Illustrationen für die Bildkarten zum Vokabeln-Lernen. Da gibts auch noch einiges zu tun. Hier sind erstmal wieder ein paar Beispiele für Kleidung.

I'm still working on the illustrations of the picture cards for the children's English school. There are a lot more to draw. Here are the some more examples für Clothes.

The Opposites

Ich nehme die Rügen bezüglich der mangelnden Pflege meine Blogs zur Kenntnis und zeige mal wieder ein paar Zeichnungen für das Kinderbuch-Projekt. Diesmal geht es um das Thema "Opposites". Irgendwie hab ich's gerade mit Elefanten und er passt doch so gut zu "Stark und Schwach".
Busy days... here are again some new drawings for the children's book project I'm working on. It's about "Opposites" this time. The elephant is part of "Strong and weak".

These two didn't make it into the book. But we might use them for something else.

Clothes Illustrations

Es scheint ewig her, dass ich mich hier zu Wort gemeldet habe. Ich war allerdings zwischen den Jahren auch recht... sagen wir es ruhig: faul, was sich schlagartig mit Beginn 2009 geändert hat. Anbei etwas nicht ganz so spannendes, das ich gerade mache. Für die Kinder-Englischschule werden zusätzlich zu den illustrierten Themen auch sogenannte Flash-Cards benötigt auf denen die jeweiligen Begriffe nochmal aufgezeigt werden. Das hier sind die für "Clothes".

Seems like years that I've posted something here. The reason is, I was incredibly lazy over christmas but that changed with the beginning of 2009. So here is something I do right now, not that exciting but anyway. For the cildren's English-school we also need some Flash-Cards, that show all the subjects. And these are the ones for clothes.

Baby

Hier mal wieder ein kleines Update aus dem Kinderbuch-Projekt. Wir haben uns entschieden der Familie ein Baby hinzuzufügen, ein kleines Mädchen wie man sieht.

Here's an update about the children's book. We decided to add a little baby girl to the family.

Hier wieder eine neue Illustration für das Kinderbuch, diesmal geht es darum was man auf dem Spielplatz alles machen kann, inklusive "Find the differences"-Bild.

Eine neue Illustration für das Kinderbuchprojekt, sehr aktuell, da ja bald Halloween ist: Peter Pumpkin Eater. Falls ihr euch fragt, warum Peter seine Frau in einem Kürbis gefangen hält, bitte lest hier nach.

Goldener Spatz

Ich habe mal wieder an einem kleinen Wettbewerb teilgenommen und leider nicht gewonnen, aber da ich die Plakate trotzdem mag, poste ich sie hier. Gesucht wurde ein Plakat für das Kindermedienfestival. Gewonnen hat übrigens das.

I paticipated in a little competition again but didn't win. I like the posters anyway so I post them here. They were looking for a poster for the Children's media festival. Btw: this one won.

Überall Äpfel - Apples everywhere

Das Apfelthema (siehe hier) setzt sich fort. Diesmal ging es um Sachen, die man aus Äpfeln machen kann. Und ich als Apfel-Fan war da voll in meinem Element :-)

I continued the apple topic. This time I had to draw things that you can make from apples. Being a big apple-fan I really liked it :-)

Heute mal: ein Teddybär - Today: Teddy bear

Hier sind wieder ein paar Illustrationen für das Kinderbuch-Projekt an dem ich arbeite, diesmal ein Teddy in verschiedenen Positionen. Und weil der Kleine so aktiv ist, gibt's diesmal einen Bastel-Hampelmann-Teddy dazu. Das hört sich einfacher an als es ist, denn ich musste tief in die Hampelmann-Bastel-Technik eintauchen und auch erst der dritte Versuch hat geklappt (Kinderkanal sei dank).

Here are some more illustrations for the children's book project I'm working on - a teddy doing a bunch different things. He's a very active guy, that's why I decided to add a handicraft version of the teddy. That was much more difficult than I thought, I had to start over two times. But finally it worked (thanks to Kinderkanal = Children's channel)
