The Big Draw Berlin zur Langen Nach der Museen

Am Wochenende findet in Berlin zum ersten Mal das BIG DRAW Festival statt. Im Rahmen der Langen Nacht der Museen wird dazu aufgerufen mitzuzeichnen und an Workshops und Aktionen teilzunehmen. Ein tolles Konzept wie ich finde! Ich wollte eigentlich hingehen um selbst an Workshops teilzunehmen. Auf meine Anfrage nach dem Programm wurde ich von den Veranstaltern gefragt, ob ich nicht selbst einen Workshop betreuen wollte. Und da ich eh hingegangen wäre, um zu zeichnen, mache ich das mal eben :-)
Also liebe Illustratoren, Kunst- und Kulturinteressierte: wenn ihr Samstag (29.8.2009) abend nichts vorhabt, schaut doch einfach vorbei. Ich bin übrigens im Museum für Kommunikation, falls ihr mich besuchen wollt. Mehr zum Programm gibts hier.

This weekend there will be the first THE BIG DRAW FESTIVAL in Berlin. A very nice concept. I wanted to go there anyway and participate in one of the workshops but then was asked by the organisers to even hold a workshop. So: why not? Meet me at the Museum of Communication if you want.

»Curry Up« - Game for Berlin's new Currywurst Museum

Vor ein paar Wochen wurde ich von IXDS gefragt, ob ich Lust hätte an einem Projekt für das bald eröffnende Berliner Currywurstmuseum mitzuarbeiten. Da das wahrscheinlich die lustigste Projektanfrage war, die ich jemals bekommen habe, habe ich natürlich zugesagt. Das Projekt ist das Spiel "Curry Up", das man im Museum spielen kann. Man muss einfach so schnell wie möglich drei Currywurst-Bestellungen abarbeiten. Das Spiel ist absolut Vegetarier-tauglich, denn natürlich sind es keine echten Würste, das Spiel wird auf einem Touchscreen gespielt.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked by IXDS if I want to work with them on a project for the Currywurst museum in Berlin. That was probably the funniest request I ever got so I said yes! We were working on a game called „Curry Up“ that you can play in the museum. You just have to finish three wursts as fast as possible. It’s of course not real wursts, it’s on screen and that’s where I came in: I did the illustrations for the game. Here are some pictures of the game.
